PSD Video Tip #12: Handle small and recurring tasks the simple way!

A boring taskThere are certain tasks that we like to procrastinate on. Sometimes these things are just mandatory to take care of and yet, we still like to postpone starting them. To make things even more challenging, sometimes these tasks are recurring (for e.g. on a monthly basis).

This video shows one way to handle the boring and recurring tasks. This tip was shared by John Saddington of TentBlogger.com in an interview I made with him just recently.

  1. Sometimes the proof of a professional is having the ability to handle these tasks. Let’s face it, everyone will love to work with a few challenges to keep you busy, but small and recurring tasks will make you sleepy and gives room to procrastination. It is great having a resource like this to know what to do. Thanks for posting this!

      John,

Sure! Great to hear that this advice was helpful!

Every time you procrastinate on a task, you have the feeling of something being incomplete. And as long as you have this feeling, it is taking a bit of your mental capacity.

      Cheers,
      Timo

  2. Like what you said scheduling might really help me and it sounds interesting. Scheduling it depending on you mood would also help you enjoy it more. Thanks fro the tip Timo, i’ll visit your blog again.

    • Timo Kiander says:

      Sure!

Scheduling is a very effective technique – especially if your mood is right.

On the other hand, if you are not feeling well, then you might have to adjust your schedule for a better time.

      Cheers,
      Timo
